Shrien Dewani
Now, there you have it. After many court applications, postponements, postponements on rulings and many arguments from lawyers, the media and your opinionated neighbour, the writing is almost on the wall for Shrien Dewani.
This week the Belmarsh Magistrate’s Court decided that Dewani should be extradited to South Africa to face charges for his wife’s murder. This decision is still pending approval from the UK’s home secretary.
Facing the music in a South African jail, is not a comforting thought. All in all, we think Mister Dewani will be in hot water for some time to come.

Julius Malema
The notorious leader of the ANCYL redefines the term ‘hot water’. Not a week goes by that Malema isn’t basking in the media’s spotlight, submerged in hot water due to his statements, opinions and Bentleys.
The latest spectacle started with a house. Nothing fancy, just a R16 million renovation on a R3.6 million house in Sandton, Johannesburg. The media started to prod and probe and the City Press spilled the beans on Sunday 24 July 2011.

The Murdochs
We just couldn’t resist adding Mr Murdoch as the first candidate for our solar powered hot tub. The infamous phone hacking scandal is on everyone’s lips and tweets. The media should be the watchdog of ethical practices in international institutions and governments, and not be in the hot seat regarding said unethical practices.
